Special Educational Needs and/or Disability (SEND) at Highwood Primary School & Local Offer

Meet the SENCo :

Mrs Lindsay Padbury is the Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo)

A special educational need/ and or disability (SEND) can cause barriers to a child’s learning. My role, as SENCo, is to identify the children’s additional needs. I liaise with class Teachers and Learning Support Assistants to help support the pupils and embed appropriate provision that can help reduce barriers to their learning.  This ensures that all students have access to our mainstream curriculum and are able to make progress.

Highwood Primary School’s Inclusion (SEND) policy can be found in our policy section. Click here
